EXCLUSIVE: WISTA PROTEST AGAINST INCESSANT KILLINGS OF NIGERIANS CITIZEN BY TRUCK DRIVERS.

Some concerned Nigerian women took to the street of Lagos today 17th September, 2020 to protest the incessant killings of innocent Nigerians by Truck drivers.

The peaceful protest and sensitization against killings of Nigerian citizens by truck drivers was held today by WOMEN'S INTERNATIONAL SHIPPING AND TRADING ASSOCIATION (WISTA).

The protest took place in around The state secretariat Alausa Ikeja. The body calls on the Federal Government to intervene and to immediately direct all tanker drivers to operate only at night.

The protesters carried placards reading; This killings must stop, Our laws and regulations must be enforced. All containers laden trucks must meet safe conditions before they ply Nigeria roads etc.
