ASIWAJU BOLA AHMED TINUBU APPEALS TO EDO VOTERS TO REJECT GODWIN OBASEKI

The National Leader of APC in Nigeria has appealed to all voters in Edo state to reject Godwin Obaseki at the poll. He said Obaseki Godwin didn’t participate in any of the struggle to enshrine democracy in the country and therefore can not understand the value and the pains that is associated with democracy.

Ahmed Tinubu who described himself as committed democrat and a leader of all democrats regardless of where you belong, that Obaseki should not be voted for at the forthcoming election in edo state. He said further that Godwin Obaseki was elected as governor by Edo people because he presented himself to them then as a democrat, he later turned around and showed the real undemocratic culture in him by preventing 14 democratically elected house of Assembly members from being sworn in, by that, he has demonstrated an act of dictatorship, lack of respect for rule of law and lack of respect for people of Edo state who voted for him.

Several leaders of the country appealed to Obaseki to respect constitutional democracy but he rejected all appeal from the National Assembly, AGF etc.

Tinubu appealed to the people to reject him Obaseki at the forthcoming election.
